A short volume. Hastily written and recorded in one week, for an artist, and a person. To the nebulous future, and everything else we'd once discussed.

Track Name: In Displacement
My head wouldn't stop spinning in the dull light as we spiraled. I was dizzy and displaced, felt so unmistaken then. And we stopped for a moment, caught a short glance of your smile and it only made the spinning worse. But I'm glad you could walk backwards; nobody'd seen my face as you had, and I loved watching yours. I'll lose myself before I start again. I'll answer my own questions if I can.
Track Name: Momentary, Temporary
How the light danced on your ceiling. The embers burnt the image in again. One day they'll tell another story: "I fell apart to rethink everything."All momentary or temporary. Fresh prints in gravel leading past the bench. Streetlamp sunset through your mirror. Turned close to you and faced the wall instead. And how you left me barely breathing. Would you want me to change anything I did? Would you want me to change anything?
Track Name: Ultimately, Inevitable
Separate rhythms, associations, all the whispers of the night in repetition. Reconvening and collapsing. Tore through volumes and formed single definitions. Souls in transit. I'm still worried that every word I say will someday sound the same. But I'll keep singing. Would you still tell me if I found something that mattered on the way? Because I'd keep it: a small reminder. Everything I've taken pieces from before. “What do you wait for?” I'm still not certain. But when I know it I'll repeat it when I'm sure. I won't see you again, but I'll wait on the sunrise. Scattered memories of you across the skyline. I won't see you again, but I'll wait on the sunrise and find myself between the branches of the trees. I won't see you again, but I'll wait on the sunrise. Burnt orange polar nights. I won't see you again, but I'll wait on the sunrise and keep your words with me for when I need them most.
Track Name: Ending Coda
Left a piece of myself at each stormdrain, left several in your hands. Tried to keep my eyes off obsolescence but shook in silence for the seconds we had left. I wouldn't want you to, but if I were you I'd still forget me.
